So i have to say that me likey Fairfax. We had a pretty long drive from Eugene to get here, but it was nice and relaxing once we did. Dave's peeps came out........Pat, Mike, Bill, John and more. It was good to have friends out there. The show was pretty fun.........and we Julio, our lovely bartender gave us free Sierra Nevada all night long. We played about a 1 hour set, shot the shit for a bit, and then headed out. Peri's is a bar i ended up really liking. Cool inside atmosphere, a great patio outside with booths for relaxing, smoking, etc. And then in the back there's various things going on......even bbq pits you can use to cook up whatever you like as you enjoy their lovely brews. After the show we ended crashing with the legendary Bill Austin in San Rafael. Bill, it was good to meet you and thanks for the hospitality, the videos, and the pics. Sorry for stinking up the place with our tour stink! Hope your date went well. Until next time........next up is San Francisco.
Unwed Fathers was established in 2007 and is currently based in Austin, TX. Founded by vocalist/guitarist David Olvera (ex-Games and Theory), the singer songwriter project started with a voice and an acoustic guitar. Later other musician friends joined in to help round out the sound. Unwed Fathers performs every first Friday at Thunderbird Coffee on Manor Rd in Austin.
